Since 1829, First Presbyterian Church of Ypsilanti has been working to glorify God through worship, prayer, mercy, and generosity; grow in faith;
go in service and witness, and foster a Christian community in Ypsilanti, Michigan. We are an open and affirming congregation were all are welcome.
WORSHIP
EVERY SUNDAY AT 10 AM
In worship, we are joined as a community that rejoices in God’s presence in the world and our lives. We join together offering our prayers, praise, and thanksgiving to the glory of God while being renewed and equipped to answer Christ’s call to us. Our services include music, preaching, readings of Scripture, and prayer.
SERVICE & EDUCATION
Presbyterians take educational and service mission seriously. We value informational education, vocational education, and transformational education. We believe that “the mission of the church is given form by God’s activity in the world as told in the Bible and understood by faith.” We are to be “the provisional demonstration of what God intends for all of humanity.”
